मनु स्मृति - वासः

नाधार्मिके वसेद्ग्रामे न व्याधिबहुले भृशं |
नैकः प्रपद्येताध्वानं न चिरं पर्वते वसेत् ||

One must not live in a village where people do not follow dharma. One must not live in a place where disease is wide spread. One must not undertake a long journey alone. One must not live for long on a mountain. Living on mountain can take a toll on one's health
