पञ्चतंत्र - असतां सङ्गदोषेण

असतां सङ्गदोषेण साधवो यान्ति विक्रियाम् ।
दुर्योधनप्रसंगेन भीष्मो गोहरणे गतः ॥

duryodhana prasangena bhIShmo goharaNe gataH ॥

If one is associated with rogues, they get corrupted even if they were virtuous by themselves. In the matter of Duryodhana, even Bheeshma participated in stealing cows from Virata's kingdom.
