भारतमंजरी - शील

विदेशेषु धनं विद्या व्यसनेषु धनं मतिः ।
परलोके धनं धर्मः शीलं तु निखिलं धनम् ॥

Education is wealth when one is traveling. One's intelligence is wealth when in trouble. The good karma accumulated by following dharma is wealth in the after-life. Good conduct is wealth in any where, any time.
