पञ्चतंत्र - आपत्सु वैराणि

क्षते प्रहारा निपतंत्यभीक्ष्णं
    धनक्षये दीप्यति जठराग्निः ।
आपत्सु वैराणि समुल्लसंति
    छिद्रेष्वनर्था बहुलीभवंति ॥

kShate prahArA nipatanti abhIkShNam
    dhanakShaye dIpyati jaTharAgniH ।
aapatsu vairANi samullAsanti
    ChidreShu anarthA bahulI bhavanti ॥
