न हायनैर्न पलितैः न वित्तेन न बंधुभिः ।
ॠषयश्चक्रिरे धर्मं योऽनूचानः स नो महान् ॥

RushayaH chakrire dharmam yo anUchAnaH sa no mahAn ॥

It is not considered Dharma just because old people, people with white hair, rich people or your relatives said so. The sages have observed what is considered moral from ages and spoken that to be the Dharma. We value that the most.
