A person who wants to get a rogue under his control (or befriend him) is taking a huge risk. Just like, curiosity to drink poison, playing with fire, hugging the king of snakes (takShaka).

Scholars rarely utter words because they think too much before uttering any word. But once they utter, they will not take it back. Elephants grow tusks very late. But once they do, they look magnificent.

A tree is the best example of charity. It bears the weight of the leaves, flowers, fruits and climbers. It protects you from the heat (by providing shade) and cold (by shielding you from cold winds), It doe all these for other people's happiness. I bow to you the the foremost among charity doers.

Which is a pilgrim place? Wherever people are worshiping the lotus like foot of the Lord. What is a gem? A pure mind. What are the scriptures? Anything, by listening which we get a unified view of the world and get rid of the darkness created by our differentiating mind. Who is a friend? he who is always ready to help and keeps us moral by giving out useful advice. Who is an enemy? He who specializes in giving out worries and bad habits.

The mighty clouds cool the world. They do not expect anything in return. They have no obligations. They are neither friends nor have affection on any one. Yet, they help people by shielding them from hot Sun. Such is the greatness of the virtuous people.

It is better not to have any virtues than dealing with lot of respect that virtue attracts. Look at the other trees in the forest that grow without any hindrances. It is only the sandalwood tree that gets cut down due to its superior quality

Oh dear well! Just because you are physically so low, don't feel bad. You are not without virtues. You are very soft/kind (moist) hearted and receive people well. A well gives out water to any one who drops down a rope.

Oh rain-fed-river, you are going to join the mighty river Ganga. Good for you. But we definitely do not like the way you are creating rapids in your little water while Ganga herself is so calm. Empty vessels make more noise.

The high and indiscreet flames of the forest fire have burnt down many trees. The creepers that were clinging on to those trees are lying on the ground. It is these places that are in need of rain. But still, oh rain!! you pour water only over the cold mountains that are very high. Is this not an example of your arrogance? (misusing your power)
