पञ्चतंत्र - संगतिः

संगतिः श्रेयसि पुंसां स्वपक्षे च विशेषतः ।
तुषैरपि परिभ्रष्टा न प्ररोहंति तंडुलाः ॥

sangatiH shreyasi pumsAm svapakShe cha visheShataH ।
tuShaiH api paribhraShTA na prarohanti tanDulAH ॥

One must enjoy the company of others, especially of people are like you and willing to help. If the rice is separate from the chaff, then it can not germinate. Even if the chaff is useless, rice will benefit from the association.
