When one loses his loved ones, a fool drowns himself in grief as if a spear went through his heart. But a stable minded person would consider the same as an opportunity to let go of attachments (and there by attain salvation) and would be unfazed by the situation.

अविवेकस्त्वनवधिर्येनायं जायते भ्रमः ॥
