पञ्चतंत्र - मित्रभेद - बुद्धि

न तच्छस्त्रैः न नागेंद्रैर्न हयैः न पदातिभिः ।
कार्यं संसिद्धिमभ्येति यथा बुद्ध्या प्रसाधितम् ॥

One can be achieve a lot by using wisdom. The same is not true about weapons, elephants, horses and cavalry (army in total).

एकं हन्यान्न वा हन्यात् इषुर्मुक्तो धनुष्मता ।
बुद्धिर्बुद्धिमतः सृष्टा हन्ति राष्ट्रं सनायकम् ॥

An arrow may or may not kill the target. But an intelligent plot can destroy an entire nation along with its leaders.

याज्ञवल्क्य - धर्म - सत्य शौच

सत्यमस्तेयमक्रोधो ह्रीः शौचं धीर्धृतिर्दमः ।
संयतेंद्रियता विद्या धर्मः सर्व उदाहृतः ॥

The following aspects living constitute Dharma - Truth, never stealing, no anger, remorse, cleanliness, intelligence to separate good and bad, calm mind, austerity, control over senses and good education

स्त्रीणामशिक्षितपटुत्वममानुशीषु
    संदृश्यते किमुत याः प्रतिभोधवत्यः |
प्रागंतरिक्षगमनात्स्वमपत्यजातं
    अन्यैर्द्विजैः परभृताः खलु पोषयन्ति ||

Women are smart even if they do not go to school. This trait can be seen even in birds (and animals). A wise man will understand this immediately. A nightingale will lays its eggs in the crow's nest and bring up its young ones very carefully. It is so smart and cunning.
