रामायणमञ्जरी - अयोध्या - स्त्री

विभूतिस्त्यागहीनेव सत्यहीनेव भारति ।
विद्या प्रशमहीनेव न भाति स्त्री पतिं विना ॥

vibhUtiH tyAgahIna iva satya hIna iva bhArati ।
vidyA prashamahIna iva na bhAti strI patim vinA ॥

Wealth is incomplete if one does not have a charitable mind. Speech is incomplete and useless if it is not truthful. Education is incomplete unless it helps you subdue your emotion. A lady without her husband is similarly incomplete.

विना शीलेन वनिता वाग्मिता विद्यया विना ।
विनियोगैर्विना वित्तं मास्तु कस्यापि जीवनः ॥
