सूक्तिमुक्तावली - कृष्ण सेवानन्दः

ना यावत्पुत्रं सूते तावद्गृहकर्म चेतसा कुरुते
    जाते पुत्रे न तथा पुत्रानन्दाप्लुता भवति ।
अज्ञाह्येवं सततं नानाव्यवहारकृत्तदा भवति
    वेत्तिनयावत् कृष्णं सेवानन्दाप्लुतस्ततो भवति ॥

naa yAvat putram sUte tAvat gRuhakarma chetasA kurute
    jAte putre na tathA putrAnandAplutA bhavati।
ajnAhyevam satatam nAnA vyavahArakRut tadA bhavati
    vetti nayAvat kRuShNam sevAnandAplutaH tato bhavati ॥

Until a woman does not have a child, she will take part in all household activities with lot of interest. Once she has some children, her energy is completely spent in keeping the children happy and she will lose interest in the household work. Similarly, until one finds the devotion in Krishna, they will indulge themselves with lot of interest in the worldly activities. After finding that devotion, they will care about nothing and derive all their happiness from serving the Lord.
