परदेशगोह्यनेकान्दृष्ट्वा मार्गान् भ्रमाकुलो भवति
    स्वस्थानं प्रतिगंतुं तज्ञं पृष्ट्वैव निर्भ्रमो भवति ।
एवं मार्गान्विविधान् भ्रमावहान्संसरन् मनुष्योऽपि
    लब्ध्वा गुरुं हि तज्ञं लब्धा पश्चात्स्वधामसुखरूपम् ॥

para desha gaH hi anekAn dRuShTvA mArgAn bhramAkulo bhavati
    svasthAnam pratigantum tajnam pRuShTaiva nirbhramo bhavati ।
evam mArgAn vividhAn bhramAvAhAn saMsaran manuShyo api
    labdhvA gurum hi tajnam labdhaa pashchAt svadhAmasukharUpam ॥

When a traveller goes to a new city, he will be confused with many similar looking paths in that city. To reach his destination, he will have to consult and follow a local expert. Just like that, every man gets confused in this world regarding the path to be taken for complete happiness. He has to find and learn from an able teacher. Find the teacher, and it is easy to find the happiness (God).
