सूक्तिमुक्तावली - कृष्णः

उपबर्हणेषु चैकं श्वेतं तूलं विचित्रवर्णेषु ।
तद्वत् कृष्णेऽकृष्णे दुष्टेऽदुष्टे नरे कृष्णः ॥

upabarhaNeShu cha ekam shvetam tUlam vichitra varNeShu ।
tadvat kRuShNa akRuShNe duShTe aduShTe nare kRiShNaH ॥

The pillows may be of many different colors. But the cotton inside each one of them is the same - white. Just like that people (beings) may black or pale, wicked or virtuous - there is the same God residing in each of them.
