सम्योचितपद्यमालिका - क्षांति दया


क्षांतितुल्यं तपो नास्ति संतोषान्न सुखं परम् ।
नास्ति तृष्णासमो व्याधिर्न च धर्मो दयापरः ॥

यदृच्छयोपलब्धेन संतुष्टो मितभुञ् मुनिः ।
विविक्तशरणः शांतो मैत्रः करुण आत्मवान् ॥

He is considered to have known his self if he can - be satisfied by windfall that happens once in a while (not greedy), eats less, lives a life of a hermit, likes to live by himself, peaceful, greets everyone friendly and shows compassion towards everyone.

शिवापराधक्षमापणस्तोत्र - पौरोहित्यं


पौरोहित्यं रजनिचरितं ग्रामणीत्वं नियोगो
    माठापत्यं ह्यनृतवचनं साक्षिवादः परान्नम् ।
ब्रह्मद्वेषः खलजनरतिः प्राणिनां निर्दयत्वं
    मा भूदेवं मम पशुपते जन्मजन्मांतरेऽपि ॥

paurohityam rajani charitam grAmaNItvam niyogo
    maThApatyam hi anRutavacanam sAkShivAdaH parAnnam ।

Oh my lord who is the god of all beings, spare me from these in this and any further lives - being a leader, having to walk at night, being a village head, slavery, head of mutt, having to tell a lie, having to give testimony as a witness in any proceeding, living on other's mercy, enmity of a brahmin, friendship of wicked people, lacking compassion towards animals.

वाचा निर्मलया सुधामधुरया यां नाथ शिक्षामदाः

इत्यागःशतशालिनं पुनरपि स्वीयेषु मां बिभ्रतः
    तत्त्वो नास्ति दयानिधिर्यदुपते मत्तो न मत्तः परः ॥
